2. Data we process
This site is a static promotional site. We do not run on-site user accounts, comments, checkout, or chat.
- Technical request data. When a page loads, our hosting and security stack may process data such as IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, referrer, timestamp, and basic network diagnostics.
- Aggregate analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views, performance, and broad traffic patterns without using client-side advertising identifiers.
- Behavioural analytics. We use Microsoft Clarity to capture aggregated, pseudonymous interaction data such as click positions, scroll depth, and session replays of UI interactions, so we can understand how visitors use the site and improve usability. Clarity automatically masks form input values and text content marked as sensitive. Clarity is disabled for visitors whose browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
- Correspondence data. If you email us, we process the information in your message, attachments, and follow-up correspondence.
- Outbound referral parameters. Links from this site to HoneyToon may include source or campaign parameters so HoneyToon can identify this site as the referring source.
3. Why we process data and the legal bases we rely on
- To operate, secure, and improve the site, detect abuse, and understand aggregate traffic trends. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a safe promotional website.
- To review and respond to messages, rights requests, business inquiries, and copyright complaints. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in administering the site and, where applicable, taking steps at your request before entering into a relationship with you.
- If we later add technologies that require consent under applicable law, we will request that consent before activating them.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
This site does not use cookies or local storage for advertising or behavioral profiling. Cloudflare Web Analytics is configured without client-side advertising identifiers.
Cloudflare security features may set a short-lived, strictly-necessary cookie such as __cf_bm when bot or abuse controls are enabled. If present, that cookie is used for security and traffic integrity, not for targeted advertising.
Microsoft Clarity may set first-party cookies (such as _clck and _clsk) and use local storage to recognise repeat sessions for behavioural analytics. For visitors located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Clarity will not place these cookies until a valid consent signal is provided; in those regions Clarity's session-replay and heatmap features may therefore be limited or unavailable on this site.
If consent-based analytics, ad tags, pixels, or similar technologies are introduced later, this policy will be updated and, where the law requires it, those technologies will not be activated before consent is obtained.
5. Service providers and recipients
- Cloudflare provides hosting, delivery, security, and analytics services for the site.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) provides behavioural analytics, including heatmaps and pseudonymous session replays of UI interactions.
- HoneyToon receives standard referral parameters if you follow a link from this site to HoneyToon.
- We may disclose information to advisers, authorities, or counterparties where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights, or handle disputes and copyright complaints.
6. International transfers
Because the services used to host, secure, and analyze this site operate internationally, information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Where applicable, we rely on the contractual and other lawful transfer mechanisms used by those providers, including standard contractual clauses, provider data-processing agreements, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework where those mechanisms are available.
7. Retention
We keep technical logs, aggregate analytics, and correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, analytics, legal compliance, and record-keeping. Exact retention periods may vary by provider and by the nature of the request.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or a copy of the information processed about you. You may also complain to a competent supervisory authority.
Because this site keeps little directly identifying information, many requests will be answered by explaining what limited technical or correspondence records, if any, we hold.
9. Switzerland
If Swiss data-protection law applies to you, you may use the same contact details listed below to exercise your rights or raise a concern. We will handle the request in substantially the same way as comparable GDPR requests.
10. California disclosures
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. California residents may still request access, deletion, or correction to the extent applicable.
11. Other US state privacy rights
Privacy rights vary by state. If you are a resident of a US state with a consumer privacy law and believe that law applies to us, you may contact us using the details below and we will respond to the extent the law requires.
12. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not knowingly track visitors across third-party websites over time for targeted advertising, so browser Do Not Track (DNT) settings do not change how this site operates.
We recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Because this site does not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in California privacy law, the signal does not trigger a different handling rule beyond our baseline practice.
We do not knowingly allow ad-tech or social plug-ins to collect cross-site behavioral profiles from this site. Infrastructure providers may still process technical request data as part of delivering hosting, analytics, and security services.
13. Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through it. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, contact us and we will review the request promptly.
14. AI and text-and-data-mining reservation
We do not consent to the use of the site's text, artwork, layout, or metadata for AI model training, fine-tuning, or text-and-data-mining. This reservation applies to training uses and is reflected in our robots.txt, ai.txt, and page-level robots directives. It does not restrict search engines or AI search assistants from accessing the site to index it or to surface it in response to user queries.
15. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the site and the limited data processed through it, including transport security, controlled service-provider access, and infrastructure security tooling.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page is the version that applies at the time you use the site. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date or last-updated date shown above.
17. Contact
Privacy requests and general data-protection questions for this site should be sent to support@honeytoon.com. Please include Privacy Request in the subject line so the request can be routed correctly.
